## Hosted demo

The docs site serves the demo pages next to the script:

- [Single instance](demo/): one widget, with the selected concept shown as JSON
- [Multi-instance](demo/multi-instance.html): two independent instances, light and dark

Enter your API key and press **Initialize**. The API base URL defaults to
`https://gw.careconekt.net/api/codesystems-search`. The URL is kept in your browser's `localStorage`
and the key only for the browser session (`sessionStorage`); the page ships no key.

What to try:

- Type two or more characters and watch the suggestions; use the arrow keys and Enter
- Press Enter on a free-text query for a full search, then **Load more**
- Click a result's info icon for the detail panel, then **Select this code**
- Change the code system filter and search again
- Enter a wrong key and see the message the `onError` callback receives
- On the multi-instance page, search in both widgets and see that they do not interfere

## Running the demo pages locally

The pages are plain HTML. Developers of the widget run them against the TypeScript source with the Vite dev server:

cd widget
npm install
npx vite
```

Then open `http://localhost:5173/demo/index.html`, enter the API base URL and a key, and press **Initialize**.
